A title is a weight-class championship at the NCAA Division I championships, 1928–2026; no tournament was held in 1943–1945 (World War II) or 2020 (COVID-19). The NCAA record counts every bout at the championships, as each wrestler page does. Wrestlers with more titles are on the [four-time list](https://www.marchmatness.app/records/four-time-champions/).
